Meet the ECTC Family…


Bob Buesing, Owner:
In 1981 the Buesing family founded East Coast Touring Company, a small local tour operator that functioned to fill the soft season of the family’s oceanfront motel in Wildwood, New Jersey. Three years later Bob purchased the business from his family, re-locating to Easton, Pennsylvania, with the vision of expanding the company. Since then, Bob’s passion for travel, immense knowledge of destinations, dedication to customer service, and his sincere and honest relationships with clients have attributed to the growth of ECTC.
Labebe Buesing, Owner:
After their son Michael was born in 1985, BeBe retired from the Pennsylvania State Police and joined East Coast Touring Company as the Chief Financial Officer. BeBe’s attention to detail, service, and financial integrity has helped ECTC maintain a secure financial foundation in hard economic times. When she is not in the office or on tour with one of our groups, she enjoys spending time with their granddaughter Brianna.
Sharon Herman, VP of Marketing:
In August 1999, Sharon joined the staff of East Coast Touring Company after a 13 year career in Criminal Justice. As the Operations Manager, she quickly learned the tour business and began to create long lasting relationships with clients and vendors. In March 2006, she was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing allowing the company to grow and become a key player in the tourism industry. Today, Sharon manages the Sales Department while working directly with our many group buyers to ensure that their tours exceed all expectations.
Amanda Rapp, Director of Operations:
Amanda began as an intern in January 2008, studying at Temple University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Upon graduation Amanda joined the East Coast Touring Company family as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator offering her creativity and outgoing personality to each tour and each client she worked with. In January 2011, Amanda was promoted to Director of Operations to assist the department with the large influx of group tours making sure each and every departure operates flawlessly.
Cindy Fehr, Office Manager, Tour Manager :
As of October 1997, Cindy joined the staff of East Coast Touring Company soon after graduating from Churchman’s Business School with an Associates Degree in Medical Executive Secretarial. She was hired first as a Tour Manager, became an Operations Manager, and was promoted to Office Manager in the year 2000. Cindy still furnishes tours for select high-profile groups as well as providing administrative support and multi-tasks necessary functions to aid in the day-to-day efficient running of ECTC.
Marci Garzillo, Tour Manager:
Marci’s interest in travel began with her travels to the west coast for University and with the lifelong friendships she built with an internationally diversified student body. Following Marci’s completion of a Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Associates in Travel Tourism, Marci joined the staff of East Coast Touring Company in 1998. Marci is passionate about travel and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Caribbean as well as Europe and “Down Under.” A part time employee, Marci enjoys attending to the finest details with group and independent travelers to ensure that they receive a high quality vacation that memories are made of.
Betty Engler (“Aunt Betty”), Tour Manager:
Bob’s “Aunt Betty” came to East Coast Touring Company part time in 2004. As a member of the Operations Team, her primary function is to assist our groups with planning day trip itineraries. As ECTC has experienced growth, Betty has been instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the office. Her travel experiences and outgoing personality contribute to the many great relationships that she has built with our group leaders and vendors.
Megan Roehrenbeck, Sales Assistant:
Megan began her employment at East Coast Touring Company in September of 2010. An alumnus of East Stroudsburg University with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, Megan utilizes her education in the sales department developing literature to help clients understand the tours that are offered. While assisting in day-to-day operations at ECTC, Megan continues to foster and develop relationships with vendors, clients and others in the tourism industry. Megan’s personal travel experiences allow her to share pertinent information about the many tours and destinations we offer.
