Day 1 Anchorage

Arrive into Anchorage. Upon arrival as the airport you will be met by your tour director, and transferred to your local hotel. Overnight An-chorage.

Day 2 Denali National Park

This morning you will be transferred to the Rail Depot for an Adventure Class Rail ride to Denali. Breakfast will be served on board the train. Upon arrival into Denali you will be transferred to your local hotel. This afternoon will be at your leisure for optional tours such as raft-ing, guided hiking, flightseeing, as well as many others to choose from. Tonight enjoy a night of fun, festivity, and food. Get a taste of old-time Alaska at the Denali Dinner Theater, the popular dinner show performed in an authentic log cabin. Overnight Denali. (B,DS)

Day 3 Denali

Breakfast will be included this morning. Today you will travel deep into Denali National Park on the Denali Backcountry Adventure. This 12-14 hour tour gives you the opportunity to search the vast wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. This journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora, and fauna of this spectacular region, snacks will be served on board, and lunch will be provided at the Denali Backcountry Lodge located at the end of the end of the Denali Park Road. Day 4 Seward

Breakfast will be included this morning. Afterwards you will board your deluxe motorcoach for a scenic transfer to the coastal com-munity of Seward. En route enjoy a visit to the Iditarod Headquarters to learn more about the Last Great Race. You will then continue on to Seward travelling along the scenic Seward Highway where you will have a chance to see beluga whales in the water below, and sheep on the cliffs above. This evening will be at your leisure to explore Seward. Overnight Seward. (B,D)

Day 5 Board the MS Zaandam

Enjoy breakfast this morning at the hotel. Then board a catamaran for a scenic day cruise into Kenai Fjords. Kenai Fjords is home to an abundant amount of wildlife alpine and tidewater glaciers, and breathtaking scenery. Lunch is included and will be served on board. Upon arrival back into Seward it will be time to say goodbye to your Tour Director as you are transferred to the Pier to board the Holland America MS Zaandam. (B,L,D)

Day 6 Cruising

Spend a leisurely day enjoying all that the Zaandam has to offer. (B,L,D)

Day 7 Glacier Bay

Glacier Bay National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects a unique ecosystem of plants and animals living in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape. When a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and thunders into the sea the impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air, You hold your breath. Then you wait for it all to happen again. And it does: Glacier Bay has more actively calv-ing tidewater glaciers than anyplace else in the world and you get to experience from the deck of this beautiful ship. (B,L,D)

Day 8 Haines

Haines nestles on the shore of America's longest fjord. Like so many towns, Haines got a jump-start supplying miners headed for the gold fields of the Klondike. Today, the town's chief exports are adventure and scenery. Raft the Chilkat, hike the Takshanuk Mountains, or fish Chilkoot Lake. Outside of town, you're likely to spot bald eagles, moose, bear, wolves, seals, and orcas. Inside of town, stop by the Shel-don Museum and Cultural Center, the Tsirku Canning Company Museum, or numerous local art galleries. (B,L,D)

Day 9 Juneau

No roads lead to Juneau, which gives the Alaskan capital a misty inscrutability. You need to come by air or water, but when you arrive, the place will delight you with its bounty of water, forests, and mountains. Squeezed between the Gastineau Channel and Coast Mountains, Ju-neau offers a lot of variety in close proximity. The massive Mendenhall Glacier and the immense Juneau Icefields are at its back door. The vast Tongass National Forest stretches away to the northeast. You can shop downtown or get out and kayak, dogsled, raft, hike, whale watch, flightsee or fish. The adventures are as bountiful as the daylight. (B,L,D)

Day 10 Ketchikan

Ketchikan clutches the shores of the Tongass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. The stairways are weathered and the vibe is cheerful in the town that calls itself the Salmon Capital of the World. See the main attractions – Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight State Park and Saxman Village or try a flightseeing trip to Misty Fjords National Monument. These deepwater fjords were gouged out by retreating glaciers, leaving granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls plunging into placid waters. (B,L,D)

Day 11 Inside Passage
The fabled Inside Passage is one of the most scenic sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. The scenery is unbelievable, with forests in a hundred shades of green, tumbling turquoise glaciers, and evocative towns loaded with history, culture and adventure. The Inside Passage is a lifeline to the outside world. All day long it hums with activity. (B,L,D)

Day 12 Vancouver
After disembarkation, meet your transfer to the airport for the flight home. (B)
